Being forced to get up before 1PM on a Saturday is against the rules in the Wilkinson/Young household. This morning my more than 'I'm a morning person', sister, woke us both up at 10:30AM.
She is now in my bathroom singing along to every song that comes on the radio with gusto. Its times like these you shouldn't wish anything upon yourself, but I wish I was deaf right about now and so do my cats, who are both sat at my feet with an over perplexed expression on their faces. Bless.
Hands in theair and lemme hear you say W00t!
So yesterday I went out with Jamies family to celebrate an anniversary. All was well, ate good and chatted the night away. It was a far cry from the usual lazy Saturday, so it made me happy that I actually did something constructive with my time.
I'm still hankering to go see "Wicked' --> *pouty face here*. Men and musicals! I think they think that it immasculates them or something. I am trying though
.
An intense sort of busy at work. Its challenging but I AM enjoying it. I can't really go too much in to it, but yeah, its crazy, crazy good though!
What else can I tell you?!
St pancras train station in London has opened its doors to Eurostar (a train which is connected to most of Europe) and I am really wanting to save up some and go to Italy. 14 hours on a train is a little like, good idea? People just tell me to fly if I really want to go. I get really bad pain in my ears as I can't handle the pressure when landing. We shall see. Its only 4 hours to france though! So maybe!
I FOUND my ipod. Wee. Leona Lewis - 'Spirit' .. Played lots
http://blog.myspace.com/lenicnic - Duplicated postage today. I do try to do diff postings on both blogs though. Problem with the .com .. I need a linux server so hopefully I will get all switched soon and get it up and running.
LOVE YA. XOXO
I haven't updated because, well, I just have nothing to say. My mind is that blank. Compare it to a party where only one person is dancing. Call it my only brain cell. Anyway, I wanted to comment on the state of my country at the moment. I really want to trash Tony Blair on here. I want to send a message of utter disgust to him. Ask him what the hell gives him the right to endanger every living person walking round on this tiny island. Fuck BUSH. Fuck the American government. Fuck small minded politicians trying to keep up with the most powerful country in the world. As far as I know London (and the whole country) is still on high alert after men were stopped at Heathrow (I think) trying to smuggle chemical bombs aboard four (I think) American airline planes. When will this madness cease? (I love Americans. NOT the corrupt government).
At the moment I am addicted to Big Brother 7. Ahhh, trash TV love. There is no other love greater.
For 2 months now I have been battling a serious skin allergy that has had me almost hospitalized twice. I've also had a CT head scan to determine why I had a black out so bad that I couldn't remember who I was or could barely speak. These are the biggest weights on my shoulders at the moment. Sometimes you completely lose sight of what is truly a worry ...
This was taken outside of the Zimbabwe headquaters in Central London. They campaining for the capture and arrest of corrupt Zimbabwean dictator, Robert Mugabe. Read about Mugabe on Wikipedia.
My problems seem small in comparison to the enormous global weight that rests on the worlds shoulders.
Its reached 100 degrees here in London, smashing an all time record for July. It fucking sucks. Working is horrendous. You should try being on your feet for 7 hours in a busy pharmacy, wearing a shitty nylon uniform, that leaves your skin screaming for air and see if you don't feel like passing out. The place doesnt even have aircon, YET. Tonight I think I may run a really cool bath and just lay in it, never getting out ;p.
I am a huge fan of Lily Allen. Her song 'Smile' is my summer anthem for 2006. If you'd compare her to anyone, she has the lyrical styling of 'The Streets' Mike Skinner. On our way home from London Town last week we had her song 'LDN' (London abreviated) blasting out. Fantastic!!
